Terms of sale and refunds

Merchant: RueIQ, a sole proprietorship operated by Adam in Montreal (Québec). Email: rueiq.montreal@gmail.com. Mailing address: provided on request by email.

Service: a PDF report on what is around 1 to 3 residential addresses on the island of Montreal, produced from public data (City of Montreal, governments of Québec and Canada, CMHC, etc.). It is decision support: it does not replace a visit, a pre-purchase inspection, a notary or a broker. Public data can be incomplete or several months old; sources and dates are listed in the report.

Price: CA$9.99 for 1 to 3 addresses (launch price until December 31, 2026; $19.99 afterwards). No other fees. Payment is made online through Stripe; RueIQ never receives your card number.

Delivery: the report is sent as a PDF to the email given in the form, usually within 24 hours of payment and no later than 3 business days after. Stripe sends you a receipt at payment.

Full refund, on simple request by email:

• if an address is outside the island of Montreal or cannot be found, and it cannot be corrected with you;
• if the report is not sent within 3 business days of payment;
• if you cancel before the report is sent.

After the report is sent: since the report is produced for your address, it is not refundable, except in case of an error on our part (for example a wrong address or a missing section). In that case, we correct and resend the report at no cost, or refund it if a correction is not possible.

Timing: refunds are made within 15 days, to the payment method used.

Promo codes: one code per order, no cash value, subject to the conditions given with the code.

Your rights: these terms do not limit any of your rights under Québec’s Consumer Protection Act.
